ADA Pro 4 code update

ADA Pro operates in conjunction with the website ada-veracity.com, facilitating the collection of field data specifically for Certified Access Specialist (CASp) professionals assessing buildings. The application allows users to upload pertinent information, which is subsequently compiled into a comprehensive report.

Upon logging into ADA Pro, users can navigate to the report types menu where they will find "saved sites," which are locations archived on the device. Selecting a different category prompts the application to query the server for any pre-existing sites associated with the account.

For each new account, a sample site is provided under the "Miscellaneous/no site type" category to guide users through initial usage. Additionally, users can reference existing building codes via the "Code Reference" feature located in the main menu. By entering relevant keywords such as "parking aisle," "door landing," or "toilet," applicable language from the relevant codes is displayed. Users can access related images by tapping on the blue fields, which showcase either Figures or Tables tied to the selected code.

Moreover, users have the option to establish a new site by selecting "Add New Site."

It is important to note that additional fees apply for including restroom and/or parking information. If initially no restroom or parking options were selected, any changes will necessitate modifications through "Modify Site Constraints" within the root site menu, requiring an in-app purchase for upgrades.

Once inside a site, pre-defined locations that align with building code stipulations are readily available. Users can add sub-locations, restrooms, or parking spaces accordingly. The "Images" button allows for the incorporation of multiple images; selecting this option will exit the camera interface and enable users to delete or annotate any images already present in that location.

After completing data entry, users are prompted to upload the site information to the server.

The application currently supports the following codes:

• California Building Code 2013 with 2015 mid-cycle edits (Chapters 11A and 11B as well as pertinent sections of Chapter 10 and Business and Professions Code)
• California Building Code 2016 and 2019 (including relevant portions from other codes)
• Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards
